Author and Illustrator Visit
Famous children's author Jerry Pallotta and illustrator Ralph Mazzelo visited Lower Salford in January. Jerry Pallotta, author of The Butterfly Book, shared stories of his childhood and his experiences writing. He also showed the students how many revisions it takes to publish a short children's story. Boy were they surprised. Ralph Mazzelo shared his artistic expertise while showing the kids how drawing some complicated pictures might not be as difficult as it looks. Ralph Mazzelo has illustrated many books including a school favorite, The Icky Bug Book.
